Editor's Verdict:
AmateurMatch.com has many of the features you would expect of an adult dating site - the ability to browse members' profiles, look at their pictures, contact them via email, instant messenger, video chat and so on - see the features list at the top of the page for a full list of the features available. But the site has a fairly small database of around just 340,000 members. We have more than a few gripes about AmateurMatch.com, however, that are responsible for it's 10th place listing in our top 10 list - so here goes...
First off there are way too many flashing ads in the members' area, for everything from sex toys to webcam sex sites, where you have to pay to see women flaunt their stuff on a webcam. In fact, there are so many ads, that we found that it severely impaired the site's navigation, as more than once did we click on an ad by mistake thinking it was a link to another part of AmateurMatch, only to whisked away to another site! Secondly, the search facility to free members is of relatively little use, enabling you only to search by country without the possibility of a more refined search. If you live in the US, you cannot even refine your search to a state-wide search - you're confined to searching the whole of the US! As a paid-up member you will have access to a more advanced search form with additional search parameters, but as a free member, you have very little chance of finding out who's available in your area. Thirdly, we found several members appearing near the top of the search results with identical profile pictures. This leads us to suspect that these profiles are fake and are there merely to entice you to upgrade to paid-membership. We suspect that all adult dating sites are guilty of this to a degree, but perhaps none are as blatant about it. Also, having reviewed many adult dating sites, we know a professionally taken photo when we see one, and we highly suspect that many of these were professionally photographed and that the subjects were professional models, rather than the girl-next-door, as we are led to believe. Another point to note is that many members have reported being spammed as a result of joining this site. Whilst this is not something we personally experienced when we joined, we thought we'd pass these views along anyway.
So enough with the bad, what about the good? Well, here are a few reasons why you should consider joining AmateurMatch...
AmateurMatch.com gives you access to a live cams section, where you can see professional models stripping for you at various show times, though this is only available to premium members. There is a galleries section where users can post hardcore pics of themselves, and a video section where you can view videos of girls stripping and getting down and dirty with some hardcore action, although it's unclear whether these are members' videos or professional videos of lesser-known porn-stars. Either way, you have to pay-up to access this feature. There's also a private chat room where models are prepared to enter into a private chat with you. And there are a number of games with titles like "Anal Invaders" and "Ass Blasters" - some of these are ok while others are rubbish (in fact, most are rubbish!) However, we deem all of these plus-points to be a bit gimmicky. Despite being an immensely popular adult dating site with around 3 million registered members, it's hard to take this site seriously with flashing banner ads on every page and automated instant messages popping up from girls whom we suspect simply don't exist!
Our advice? If you want a little light-hearted fun, then there's no harm in signing-up for a free membership with AmateurMatch.com. However, if you're serious about finding a sex-date in your area and you want to spend your time and money wisely, check out our No. 1 rated adult dating site, AdultFriendFinder.com, which has a staggering 24 million registered members!

I became a paid premium member of this site after posting a free profile. I was getting messages from their O.C. (online cupid). I did not know this at the time and thought they were on the level. After having some difficulty with the site I clicked on the OC on the message they sent and it basically said you will never meet anyone fom this site it is for "entertainment purposes only" and went on to describe what their O.C was. The online cupid corrresponds with members to keep them hooked into the site without ever giving anything real out. In a nutshell a very elaborate scam. Get you to post a free profile. Fill you box with messages to get your money and then pull the rug out from under you.

Lies and Spam and Bots, oh my!
If you have read any reviews of Amateur match already, you've heard the complaints, lies from the advertising (number of members who are real), email from bots, instant messages from spammers But there is one more that is the worst of all, apathetic administration.
You can complain about the number of bogus accounts. Explain how you can look at the picture of 4 different accounts and show that the picture is the same. You can even show them how the location that the profile is tied to (Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; etc.) has changed from day to day. You can illustrate how two different accounts sent you the exact same message, none of this even concerns the administration of the site. Look at the time line of the complaints about bogus or fake accounts, the complaints go back to their beginning. You are not going to see this change (in my opinion) because it's too good for their advertising to show an inflated number of accounts.
Email from bots, this fits in with the previous comments I made about bogus accounts. When two accounts with two different locations, and two different pictures send you the exact message verbatim, you have to know something is up. But when this is notified to the admins... Nothing. I would also like to comment on the number of emails per day before and after signing up are mysteriously correlated. I am going to watch my inbox after my account expires, to see if the trend continues.
Finally the spam. You will see plenty of advertising showing you how the instant messenger is the greatest thing in the world. Problem is, EVERY SINGLE message I received for a period of 72 hours (over 15 different accounts messaging me) was a request to "see me on my website cam... i can get you in for 1,5,unlimited free hours" Of course you have to give a card, and the free time costs between $1 and $25/month (i'm cancelling the charges now).
Overall this site seems to be very low quality. The look and feel is great, but the content, and the administration is VERY poor. Don't waste your time or money on this site.

For the desperate & dumb only
I signed up for amateur match a few days ago, I'm a single straight 50 something male by the way. I just filled out the basics to get on the site,no picture,no tag line,no profile,and have had dozens of replies purporting to be from various women telling me what an interesting guy I am, how mine is the only profile that caught their attention,how can we get in touch offline and many others. I can think of only a few reasons why I should be getting such a response 1.These women dont exist. 2.I'm almost the only male on the site. 3.Somehow I let it slip that I'm enourmously wealthy. 4 I must be so attractive that it comes across in cyberspace. The only reason I haven't score it zero is because I can't prove it's a complete fraud.

Well I have to say so many things!
Ok first if you want to chat with any girls they are all from another website and they want you to signup for a credit card to another site. So everybody that is at least a girl in the chat room is a webcam girl from another site. this will never get you a date. Second off I have be a member for over 3 years never got a date. I get many emails from girls but they say yeah I want to meet and never repley back. not to say that everybody that writes is a cam model but everybody that I do meet happens to be from africa. they are looking to marry someone from the USA. So the only girls that do write me back are from africa, or they email and never return your letter. plus when you don't pay for a membership you get like 2 emails of girls interested and then they never reply when you sign up. Never had a date. net meet with someone. in over 3 years. I thought it was important to write this. plus I think a lot of the profiles are fake. So if your looking to just meet up with webcam girls and go see them put on a show then by all means join up. if you want to meet someone then don't join AmateurMatch.com

A scammer dating site
Here how AmateurMatch works. We create a free member profile. We receive 4 messages per day from super beautiful girls. When we sign up and pay 30$, they almost stop sending us messages. We receive two message per month. If we message them, some doesn't respond to us. You will never get a date on this site. The only real girls that use this site are prostitute and will gave you a date for 300$. Most of them (85%) are fake, work on this site to earn commission. Sometime two different girl send same message. It's called a programmed mail. They send the same mail to everybody.

Yea... amateurmatch is good only because it has very few men on it... at least, when the site began it didnt...
I hate this one because of:
Spamming from web cam girls, low response from girls, girls posing and looking for relationships instead of intended sex dates, and girls who send you like one email of interest, and then you never hear from them again..
This site is gay, and definitely not worth the money.

A total scam
Sadly, I have to concur with the earlier reviews. Really, I blame myself as much as Amateurmatch, because they depend on a steady stream of guys whose hormones have overtaken their intellects. I also noticed the same profiles attatched to different pics, the professionally taken pics vs. real world photography, and an incredible concentration of great looking young women from Schenectady, NY, of all places.....?.....
When I signed up for my free membership, I was thrilled to be receiving 3-4 emails each day from some very enticing women with utterly believeable profiles -- a total of over forty women who absolutlely wanted to hook up. When my account was activated - poof! - no more email.....zero...
All of my attempts to contact them were met with boilerplate responses, and I now realize I've been scammed for fifty bucks....No big deal. I just edited my profile, and buried a message in the middle of it that reads "This site is a scam. Do NOT send in your money. You'll just lose it like I did."

This site is a joke if you join it like I did your just flushing money down the tolit. Amaturematch has been nothing but a screw up mess for anybody who tries to use it, people do your self a favor don't join they will rip you off too.
