Scam?...Fling behave like one.

Over the past two weeks, a group of friends (mix group male & female), been trying to register on the Fling site.

Well..we though of spicing-up our social life's.
Went through the sign-up procedures...got to the page.."confirmation send"...now, 2 weeks down the line, still waiting and even re-trying a few time..Mmmm..Nada!

Spam we got by the tons...!!!
So...BEWARE!! This is a eamail collection site.

Save Your Money... This Website Sucks

Fling.com has to be the worst $60 I've ever spent. After I registered, I of course decided to try to upload some pictures. I couldn't because the website wasn't working properly and it kept giving me an error any time I tried to upload any picture. Oh well, I thought. I'll just start looking through some profiles, it should be fixed in no time. Now, with a Gold membership I was told I could email members. In all my time with Fling I have found this to be untrue, unless the members themselves actually supplied me with their email (Which is something I'll rant about later). After sending my first message I was told I had reached my message limit for the day. Wow. Unbelievable.

So after a while of not being able to upload photos and not being able to send messages to other users, I decided to email customer support and tell them what was wrong with their website and voice my concerns. I never heard back from them, but the messages and photo upload problem seemed to be fixed in about TWO DAYS. Two days is a relatively short period of time, but if you're a major website who provides a service to it's customers for a fee, two days is a long time.

Alright, well, no sweat, I have a 3 month membership, plenty of time to find girls to hook up with. So I finally upload some photos and rate them and what not, and the photos say "Pending" underneath them for a week, and finally I guess they got approved. But to this day my default picture still says "No Pic" to me. And when I try to verify my photos it tells me I still have not uploaded any photos. Wow. Awesome.

So I figure, well, if this website is not letting me put any photos, I'll just write the link to my Myspace in my about me section, and people can go there and take a look at my photos. And i'll write my email address in case anybody wants to email me for pictures or to talk. WRONG. Any website or email address you try to write about in your about me is automatically deleted. Chalk up another suck point for Fling.com.

So anyway, during this whole time I am sending messages to other users in my area, doing my thing, you know. But the only responses I ever get back are generic spam messages telling me to pay money to register to some website so I can see more pics of them, or telling me that they don't meet guys unless they view them on their webcam first, which of course, costs money. I've had different members message me back with different generic spam messages but with the SAME email address! WTF? And it's always something at hotmail.com. I was suspicious in the very beginning when I was browsing profiles of girls in my area, and I came across two different profiles with the exact same "about me" section. Word for word. Anyway, here are a few of the generic messages I've received back from these fake women.

Message 1: Hey (Name censored for privacy, but I will tell you it was my display name letter for letter, number for number), how are you? So whaddya looking for on here. I'll tell you what I want...a really good time LOL! The last couple of dates I went on were very, very bad blind dates. The last guy I went out was telling about my food digesting while I was eating. Ugh!!! To be honest I don't wanna find a "hubby" on here, I just wanna find someone looking for the same type of no-strings fun that I am. IF thats you and you're interested in me get in touch with me at jenhottlove@hotmail.com Its a lot easier to check that email at work, if you know what I mean. Well, cant wait to hear from you, maybe we can meet up for oral, I mean coctails soon? LOL!.

Not one of the ladies I contacted returned with a sincere reply. Everyone if them was either a hooker or wrote back directing me to a second pay site where I would be able to get their phone number. This is not a good site for meeting a lady.

Is it B.S.?

After signing up, I was finally able to search their entire listing. I've received responses from more than 3/4 of the women I was interested in. I thought this was great and that I had hit paydirt! But their responses were very similar to one another and also indicating that I had to jump to another site to get their phone number. Does that bring up a red flag to you? And of those women who directed me to this other site, I haven't heard from again? What's going on here???

Lots of fakes

I am a good looking guy who works out regularly and has the body to show for it. However, after looking through and contacting nearly 100 profiles in my area, not a SINGLE ONE turned out to be real. EVERY SINGLE ONE sent me some BS message about how I should sign up for some other website to look at their pics, but once I signed up they left their phone number in there for me. Yeah right. This site is pathetic. Don't waste your money.

Questionable

I find that Fling.com seems to be a bit questionable in that I received a reply to almost every contact I made, all with gorgeous women. Two, the replies felt formated and only proved to be so when I compared several responses that were identical with the exception of the email address the girls asked me to use. It's disheartening when you're truly looking for someone to hold, caress, or just plain get nasty with, only to be lead on by pre-formatted responses.

Hopefully no one else will be duped into paying for a membership just to be disappointed.

Fling is a hub for Cam girls n scammers

After 24 hours I asked for my money back. Every single girl tricks you into voting for their cam shows. Supposed models, cam girls, scam artists being stuck in Nigeria by their exes. NOT ONE SINGLE GIRL so far was real! Some have better stories then others. Its a pure hub for cam girls. I called in to cancel and they know whats going on. You report each one as spammer or phisher, and guess what, nothing happens. Business as usual. This is the worst rip off ever. Not worth a dime. Go directly to webcams.com or what not and get the same result. They play the game smart there.

Just dont bother. NOT ONE OF 90 girls in 24 hours was real.

All scammers. Damn cam girls- glorified hookers on cam.

Rip off- do not believe it

This site is a ripoff! The women on the home page as "teasers" do not exist. I have tried to contact all of them in many states and they are not listed. Also most of the women on the site are operating web cams for fee. Take a hint- look at the small towns some of the women claim to be from- there are no babes like this in these little towns! These are foreigners posing on the site. Save your money and buy a woman a drink at the bar. You have a better shot of getting laid that way!

Total Scam

Fling / Fling.com has stolen profiles from other online dating sites. They took my friends profile from adultfriendfinder.com and have it on their site although my friend never joined their site!

They have tons of fake profiles and they sent tons of fake friend invites and fake messages.

They say profiles are from your area but they really are not! If you change the area you are from the profiles magically change their location too.

They even have banners that say the women is from your area but she really isn't, it's called geo targetting.

They also do not stop charging you when you try to cancel.

Again Fling.com is a complete scam and a fraud, these are the same guys that runs nastydollars.com, bangbus.com, etc.

So buyer beware!

ripoff...

been on this site for a few days and have got several responces...all people trying to sell web cam time..as low as 99 cents...not one real woman on the site...this site is used soley for the porpouse of selling porn. nothing else. I am still on the 9.95 ten day trial. and am constantly gettting e-mails to sell me something.WARNING..when you get a response to visit their web site which is almost always a hotmail address because for some reason they cant talk to you there...beware..you are fixing to get asked for money.

Full of SCAMMERS

This site is full of women who respond and as soon you email them once, they stop emailing you or they try to get you to sign up for a porn site. All 17 women that responded to me conducted pretty much the same scam. They either want your email address or want you to pay. Worthless, worthless site.

I joined Fling.com only to discover that many of the replies are complete duplicates and sent to you from various fake girls from different areas. I have found 6 completely identical responses from different "girls".

It's all an automated scam to get you to pay more or go to some cheesy porn site. No real women what so ever.

Fling.com is definitely not legitimate, clearly they are a marketing company and misleading all of their customers.

I wish there would be one legitimate singles site out there, obviously there are more than enough guys/girls willing to pay for it.

These sites should all be boycotted and hopefully shut down.

Just wanting to agree with so many of the reviews here.

THIS SITE IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM AND SHOULD BE TAKEN OF THE NET IMMEDIATELY.

I would suggest that 99% of the female profiles are FAKES! only there to get you to pay top dollar for nothing.

DO NOT JOIN THIS WEBSITE - IT IS A NET SCAM.

Fling.com - Another scam on the market.

One of the gentlemen's review had a paisted bullshit line that was verbatum what I was fed. I am really suspicious when I am contacted by really outstanding women that probably wouldn't give me a second look and they want to use hotmail or some other non-existing site. Becky from Shreveport wanted me "Real Bad," but would not give me a phone number to contact her. What a bunch of crap. I told her off...or some gay wad who was manning the station. I am checking into getting my money back.

A total scam

I originally joined Fling.com because it came highly recommended at a review site. Either things have changed drastically since the review was written, or the reviewer was paid to write what he did.

After joining the site, I sent messages to perhaps a hundred women. I got a couple dozen responses, all of which wanted me to write to their e-mail address, and most of which wanted me to go to another site, supposedly to get their phone numbers. Never heard from them again, though that particular e-mail address is now getting a lot more spam than it used to. The remainder were cam models.

Complaints about spam and phishing have gotten me nowhere. I reported every instance where I saw a clear attempt at phishing, and nothing happened. In one particularly egregious case, one response I received to my message outright told me we would get together if I signed up for some porn site. And this was on the site! She didn't even bother trying to direct me to another e-mail address! I guess she knew she had nothing to worry about.

However, for all that, I am convinced there are real women on the site. One person I wrote to actually took the time to look at my profile. She did not respond to my message, so she must have been genuine. A small consolation, I suppose, but better to be rejected by a real woman than led on a merry goose chases by dozens of others.
