Editor's Verdict:
My Foreign Bride is a relative newcomer on the foreign bride scene, having only been established in 2003, yet it has already amassed an impressive 70,000 profiles (though this includes male and female members - the total number of female members is not disclosed). MyForeignBride.com is not like most other mail order bride sites, instead it is much more like a traditional dating site with many of the features you would expect from a dating site, including the ability to upload your own profile and photos, the ability to contact other members using internal e-mail, instant messaging and access the chat rooms, and the ability to "show interest" (to effectively wink) at other members. As such, full membership to MyForeignBride.com is a lot cheaper and a lot more straightforward than it is on other mail order bride sites, which typically charge you for each e-mail address you wish to purchase. However, MyFoireignBride.com does lack many of the features that really set a foreign bride service apart from traditional dating sites. In particular MyForeignBride.com lacks any form of organized tours (which is one of the best things about a foreign bride service), it lacks a telephone translation service, it does have an e-mail translation service (Platinum members only) though this is done using automated software and so it will not be perfect. MyForeignBride.com also lacks much of the support and experience of organizing immigration VISA's, etc. Chances are you won't get much help with this through MyForeignBride.com (although we must confess that we haven't actually tried this ourselves, but VISA support and advice is not mentioned anywhere on the site).
In summary, it all depends what you're looking for and how much you're prepared to pay. MyForeignBride.com is cheap and will allow you to contact many beautiful women from overseas, but that's about it. If you're looking for a professional foreign bride service however, that offers you romantic tours, professional letter and telephone translation and immigration VISA support and don't mind paying a good bit extra, then you may want to look elsewhere. For our money you can't beat our No. 1 choice in this category - CherryBlossoms.com - which has the best of both worlds: it allows you to upload your own profile and offers you many of the features of a traditional dating site for a reasonable flat monthly fee, but also offers some great romantic tours, professional translation services and full immigration VISA support.
