FirstPhera.com is an online wedding planning portal for Indians globally. The website creators, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, explain that: "with the First Phera, the couple invokes the Gods for the plentitude of pure and nourishing food and a life that is noble and respectful."

The site is still in the "Beta" phase of development and has recently received a face-lift.

Couples can choose from ethnic Indian designs (like the traditional Ganesha theme) and modern Western designs (like the electric champagne theme).

The site is entirely free if you are willing to allow wedding-related adverts to appear on your site. Alternatively, you can pay a fee to rid your wedding website of all adverts.

There is also a FirstPheraShop offering all kinds of ethnic products, not just wedding-related ones.
