The Premium templates have popup pages providing further information and pictures about the Wedding Ceremony, Wedding Reception and if you like, Honeymoon. These popup pages are not available on the Standard templates.
Page 4: Wedding Party (3 pages but counts as 1)
- The Wedding Party page gives you the opportunity of introducing the wedding party to your guests. This page contains photos of everyone in the Wedding Party. It also includes a description of the role the person is playing in the wedding party. Its great because everyone can see whose who before the wedding!

Page 9: Photo Gallery
- The Photo Gallery page contains a picture of you and your partner and a list of photo albums. The wedding and honeymoon photos are added after the wedding.
Page 10: Our Story
- Share your story with your guests. They would love to know how you met and fell in love! Please note that in some cultures, the wedding photographs are taken before the wedding so that they can be included in the wedding website. This page can contain a His and Her version, as in the example above, or a be written by both of you.
Page 11: About the Bride & Groom (2 pages but counts as 1)
- This page actually consists of 2 pages: 'About the Bride' and 'About the Groom'. Its a fun thing and gives you and your partner the opportunity of providing your guests with some information about yourselves, for example, favorite food, hobbies, date you got engaged etc. You can also include a childhood photo of yourselves (guests love seeing what you looked like as a child).
Page 12: Accommodation details
- This page communicates all the necessary information to your wedding guests coming from out-of-town. It provides suggested accommodation for your guests, once again, saving you and your wedding guests time.
Page 13: Gift Registry
- The Gift Registry page informs your guests of your Gift Registry. It contains a short message from you and your partner and contains a link to your online registry . It is common wedding etiquette not to include information about the registry in your wedding invitation. The Gift Registry page allows you to tactfully steer your friends and family to give you the gifts you really want by having a convenient link to your registry so guests can find out where you are registered and buy online. Most couples register at either Department Stores, Speciality Stores or Wedding Stores. Some couples register at more than one store. Each store should provide you with a link so that your wedding guests can go online and purchase a wedding gift quickly and conveniently. The gifts are usually delivered to your home saving your guests the hassle of actually going out and buying the gift.
Page 14: Our thanks
- This page provides you with the opportunity to say a warm thank-you to your wedding guests. This page is not visible until after your wedding.
Editor's Verdict:
As WeddingOrg.com explain, there are 6 steps to setting up a wedding website with them:
- Step 1 : Decide which Flash template you want
- Step 2:
Decide which pages you would like on your website
- Step 3 : Choose and pay for a package
- Step 4 : Receive a confirmation email (with order number and further instructions)
- Step 5 : Proof read your Site
- Step 6 : Your site is now ready to roll
Part of their service includes photoshop work on your photos to get the best results including the addition
of exotic or theme backgrounds to your photos. Their flash based websites are also impressive but you need to get all 13 pages listed in the features list if you want an impressive wedding website. As indicated in our joining fee section, will cost you $580 and will limit you to just 64 photos. Thus, it's not good value for money.
A second downside of flash based sites like these is that some of your guests may find the pages slow to load if they don't have high speed internet connections.
A third shortcoming of this site is the fact that it doesn't include any PLANNING tools, like a guestlist database, an invitation wizard to help you create your invitations, or table planning software to help you visualise your seating arrangements. Our top ranking sites, by contrast, are much cheaper, are not heavily dependent on Flash based technology and offer lots of invaluable planning tools.
So we strongly recommend that you view our top ranking sites before deciding whether or not to sign up with WeddingOrg. One of our top 3 sites is bound to suit your needs, tastes and of course, your budget! You can check out Wedding Org for yourself by clicking on the button below.
